Have you been keeping up with Big C Atlantic Challenge?
Andrew and his team are embarking on a mission like no other.
Their goal? To build a one-man boat capable of sailing across the vast Atlantic Ocean.
But that's not all—they're also aiming to set a new world record for the smallest vessel to make the crossing!

Andrew and his team are not just building any boat; they're creating a marvel of engineering designed for a singular purpose: to conquer the Atlantic. To keep the boat as light as possible, the team is constructing it out of aluminum—a material known for its strength and lightweight properties.
In order to weld the aluminium, the team are using their R-Tech MIG251 MIG Welder, fitted with some Aluminium MIG Wire and Pure Argon Gas.
With it being capable of effortlessly welding Aluminum with either the Spool on Gun or the MIG Torch with a Teflon liner, the R-Tech MIG251MIG Welder is ideal for this!
