Product quality very good the only thing I would change is the way the welding rods are attached to the probe if your working a large section such as a earth bucket on a excavator some sections can take up to 15 rods and having to take your gloves off to unscrew the handle can get abit annoying but the quality is very good

I was recommended R-Tech by a friend, well truth be told I was sent a link to a doubleboost YouTube video reviewing the R-Tech MIG181, I immediately knew this was the welder i really needed in my life, for many years I?d used an SIP migmate 150 and never been able to get the settings just right, I couldn?t believe how the MIG181 was so compact and user friendly, once you get it and start playing it?s even better than the reviews say, so easy to set up, in fact there?s not really any setting up you just punch in your preferences and away you go, work right first time everytime, I took it to work to help out with some fabrication and vehicle repairs and it?s flawless, I haven?t even used it with gas yet,

Been using mma to weld up a strong box I have made up to store all my power tools in, it performed without a hitch the only downside was me, I'm still a bit of a noob. Once again I would recommend to any of my friends and professional's alike. The quality of the mma cable is to me top notch comparing it to my old unit and seems manufactured to last a long time.

For welding 10mm mild steel. Nice, steady arc. Better than my old transformer welder.

Looks well put together like the mig 180 and very sturdy. I've not yet used it.

The 4 metre MMA cable has given my 180 amp MIG much more versatility to do various welding tasks at very minimal cost,. It is a top quality product, welds beautifully, in manual arc mode the machine gives a much smoother arc than my old welding machine gave so very highly recommended .. I'm now 74 years of age and been using welding equipment for 54 years, never had better value or better equipment. Well done to all at R Tech .

There really isn?t much to say about a welding cable/ holder. I ordered it in case I decide to do any ?stick? welding. It certainly seems to be suitably ?heavyweight?.

As described

Poor finish with a low quality feel to it. There is no trigger clamp mechanism to hold the electrode - instead they just push in and then seat at a peculiar angle. I am sure in use and over time the clamp will lose its grip and the position of the electrode will burn the plastic surround of the torch end. Very dissapointed

Excellent product, had to buff the end down a bit 3mm. so it would go in and Twist lock but no problem****.
